Your satisfaction is our top priority. To provide you with information or a price quote, we process your personal data to the extent of:

4. For what purpose do we process your personal data?

a) Sending a price quote

We process your personal data for the purpose of pre-contractual relations, i.e., sending a price quote based on your individual request. Although a price quote is non-binding, it may serve as a basis if you order the selected goods. We therefore process your data on a legal basis for the purpose of pre-contractual relations, i.e., no separate consent is required.

Through our website you can contact us for information using a form created for this purpose. We process your data on the basis of your consent.

b) Marketing communication

We process your personal data for customer care, to provide information about products and services, and for market research, via newsletters. If you have not yet made a purchase with us, we process your personal data for this purpose only if you give us your consent.

Sending a price quote

Data provided and processed for issuing a price quote or providing information are retained for the time necessary to handle your request; i.e., after the quote or information is sent, we no longer process or retain your personal data.

Marketing

We retain your e-mail address until the purpose for which you gave consent ends, or until you withdraw your consent.

As a rule, we do not provide the personal data processed for the above purposes to third parties.

9. Where do we transfer your personal data?

As a rule, we do not transfer the personal data processed for the above purposes to third countries.

Your satisfaction is our goal. We always strive to meet your requirements. If you are not satisfied with how we process your personal data, please write to us at front@cstudils.sk.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, especially if you believe we are processing your personal data unlawfully.

11. In what form do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data electronically and do not use automated individual decision-making or profiling.

12. How do we ensure the protection of your personal data?

As noted at the beginning of this document, the security of your personal data is our priority. We have therefore implemented necessary and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, manipulation, or unauthorized access. Technical means used for processing personal data are properly protected by passwords known only to authorized persons. These technical means are stored on our premises and are not removed or transferred. Only authorized, duly instructed persons who are familiar with our internal regulations and guidelines on handling personal data have access to them. The measures adopted are subject to regular review and are continuously adapted to the latest state of the art. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform you without undue delay within 72 hours if such a breach could lead to a high risk to your rights.

13. Social media

Our e-shop may contain social media features. The controller may receive comments or links that a user has shared on the controller’s websites on the mentioned social networks. The controller may also obtain the data stated in the user’s public profile on those social networks and all information that the social network user shares using the controller’s services. 14. What are your rights?

a) Right of access

You have the right to know whether we process your personal data. If we do, you may request access to the data. Based on your request, we will issue a confirmation with information about how we process your personal data.

b) Right to rectification

You have the right to have your personal data that we process be correct, complete, and up to date. If your personal data are incorrect or outdated, you may request their correction or completion.

c) Right to erasure

In certain circumstances, you have the right to have your personal data erased. You may request erasure at any time. We will erase your personal data if:

  • we no longer need them for the purpose for which you provided them;
  • you withdraw your consent;
  • you object to the processing of your personal data;
  • we process your personal data unlawfully;
  • the personal data must be erased to fulfil a legal obligation;
  • you are a child, or the parent of a child, who consented to the processing of personal data over the internet.

    There may be cases where, despite your request, we cannot erase your personal data (or part of them) due to the fulfilment of a legal obligation. We will inform you of this without delay.

d) Right to restriction of processing

You may also request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. If we grant your request, we will only store your personal data and will not otherwise process them. Processing will be restricted if:

  • you inform us that your personal data are incorrect, until we verify their accuracy;
  • we process your personal data unlawfully, but you do not agree to erasure and instead request restriction;
  • we no longer need your data, but you need them to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • you object to processing until we verify whether our legitimate interests override your reasons.

e) Right to data portability

You have the right to request that we provide your personal data in an electronic format (e.g., XML or CSV) that enables you to transfer the data easily to another company. Alternatively, upon your written request, we will transfer your personal data directly to a selected company. We will comply if you provided the personal data directly to us and you gave us consent to process them.

f) Right to object

You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. Based on your objection, we will erase your personal data. If we process your personal data for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority, you may object to their processing if you have personal reasons.

16. Handling of requests

We will handle all your requests and inform you of the outcome in the same manner as you submitted the request. When handling your request to exercise data subject rights under the GDPR, we may ask you to reliably verify your identity.

Each of your requests to exercise data subject rights will be assessed individually and competently, and we will always inform you of the result no later than one month from receipt of the request. The process of handling requests to exercise data subject rights under the GDPR is free of charge.

If your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly due to its repetitive character, we are entitled to charge a reasonable fee reflecting the administrative costs of providing the requested information. In the case of repeated requests for copies of processed personal data, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee.

If, in your opinion, we have not handled your request to exercise data subject rights in accordance with the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.dataprotection.gov.sk) or seek judicial remedy directly before the competent general court.

17. Final provisions

These privacy principles take effect on the date of their publication on 15 January 2024.

We reserve the right to change these principles if the processing of personal data in our company changes. You will be informed of any change by e-mail.
